OF THE CAYES

Our two islands offer a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle. They were formed by Mangroves, which are among the most biologically important ecosystems on the planet! Over decades the mangrove roots collected the silt and sediment the tides carry in and gradually formed Bread & Butter Cayes. We have a breathtaking coral reef right off the north side of our main island, and a gorgeous green field of seaweed on the west side. Our favorite place is in the middle of the two islands, where the water is shallow, and the white sand allows for spectacular viewing of various marine life.
